RHS Chelsea Flower Show

RHS Chelsea Flower Show is going to return in 2021, however with reduced the number of visitors over more days to keep everyone safe. They have revealed their plans in detail for the event show, sponsored by M&G, that include social distancing measures, fewer guests and increasing the number of days from 5 days to 6 days. There is going to be 140,000 visitors over the six days from Tuesday (18 May 2021) to Sunday (23 May 2021), compared to 168,500 over five days in 2019. Now, tickets are on sale. They have consulted on their plans. They believe that they are able to run the primarily outdoor event safely for everyone.

1. What are the dates for the 2021 RHS Chelsea Flower show?

The dates are explained below:

• Malvern Spring Festival: 6 May – 9 May 2021
• Chelsea Flower Show: 18 May – 22 May 2021
• Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival: 6 July – 11 July 2021
• Flower Show Tatton Park: 21 July – 25 July 2021

For note: In 2021, RHS Flower Show Cardiff and RHS Chatsworth Flower Show will not be taking place.

Tickets are going to go on sale via the RHS site in the autumn. We suggest you do not buy a ticket from any other source.

2. Does membership of RHS guarantee me get tickets?

You have to know that all ticket types are subject to availability. RHS membership does not guarantee you getting a ticket. RHS members will get access to member-only days and priority booking for the shows, however tickets are limited.

3. What choices are there when booking for people with disabilities?

The attendants cannot be provided however one companion is admitted free of charge per visitor whose disability necessitates assistance. You have to mention this at the time of booking as discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Then, proof of eligibility is required. All tickets are subject to availability.

They are going to offer a hire service for manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters for use at the show. You are able to bring your beloved dog to RHS Flower Show Tatton, RHS Flower Show Cardiff, RHS Chatsworth Flower Show and RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival (except the Preview Evening). For note: Dogs are not allowed at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, RHS Malvern Spring Festival, London Shows, and Malvern Autumn Show with exception of assistance dogs. The pet dogs are limited to one dog per booking. Dogs have to be kept on leads at all times, will not be permitted into any of the indoor restaurant areas. You have to be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your pet using the bins provided. Also, do not leave dogs unattended in parked cars.

5. When will my pre-ordered event guide arrive?

The show guides are posted about one week before the show (UK only). Also, the guides will be available to purchase at the show.

6. Is there somewhere to leave my plants at the show?

They provide a plant and product crèche at their shows. Any items are left at the owner’s risk, and the organizers are not responsible for any items which are lost or stolen.

7. Where can I park?

Details about parking will be found on each individual show’s Plan Your Visit page. Disabled parking is available at all their shows for visitors with disabilities who display a valid blue badge.

8. What happens to lost property?

The items are kept for one month before being donated to local charities. Due to limitations of space, unclaimed plants can be kept for one day. You have to contact them by email with a full description at RHS shows customer care.
