Flavonols which are exposed to high temperatures will also fade from yellow to white, but cold weather will  increase the production and will deep the yellow color of flowers.

Depending on the pH which are exposed in the flower, some anthocyanin pigments will change color. Usually, pH do not change from time to time in a hibiscus flower.
